MegaSol offers flexible payment options for Residential Solar Solutions (RSS), allowing customers to choose a financing plan that best suits their financial capacity and energy needs.
1. Cash Purchase: Customers may pay the full purchase price upfront and take immediate ownership of their residential solar system, with no recurring payments or financing obligations.
2. Asset Financing: For customers who prefer not to make a full upfront paymentor are unable, MegaSol has partnered with reputable financial institutions, including banks, SACCOs, and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), to provide affordable financing solutions. Once the customer’s loan application is approved, the financing institution pays MegaSol directly, and the customer repays the financier through convenient monthly installments based on the agreed repayment terms. This financing model enables customers to access reliable, clean, and affordable solar energy without the burden of a large initial capital outlay.
Megasol provides customers with the flexibility to choose the payment option that best suits their financial needs and budget. Customers can select from the following payment plans:
1. Cash Purchase
Customers can pay the full purchase price upfront and take immediate ownership of their solar system, with no recurring payments.
2. Lipa Polepole (Pay-As-You-Go)
Customers who prefer to spread the cost over time can opt for the Lipa Polepole (Pay-As-You-Go) financing plan. This option requires an initial deposit, followed by affordable daily installments, typically over a 24-month period. This flexible payment model enables customers to enjoy reliable solar energy while paying in manageable amounts.
Each successful payment automatically generates an activation token, which is sent to the customer’s registered mobile phone via SMS. The customer uses this token to activate or extend the use of their solar system. If a token is delayed or not received, MegaSol’s customer support team can manually generate and resend it to ensure uninterrupted service.
